Holy crap. WTF? The death of another of my favorite Gay Old Man Dive Bars. As if Lower Polk St. hasn't been 'sanitized/white-washed' as it is. What a crime. If Aunt Charlie's gets threatened with closure, I will seriously lose my sh*t.

Anyone have any dirt on what type of place is taking over the space? (Just please don't tell me it'll be yet another 'slummingly' swanky hipster haven. Damn them. Leave the TL alone!)
