Any good Seattle dives left?
Seems like all of the good ones I used to know have closed, been turned into yuppy hellholes, or been overrun by a bunch of annoying hipsters.
Oh ... and even if there are some left aroud here one of the essential features of a dive is about to dissapear much as it has in NYC and California, the thick cloud of cigarette smoke (well assuming that assnine anti-smoking initative passes).

Tue, December 20, 2005 - 6:59 PMAlas the Gibson was the last decent dive I was aware of.
I suppose the Turf qualifies as a hipster-free dive but it is a tad sleazier than I like my dive bars.
I suppose that is the only real solution ... go to the places the hipsters are too scared to go into.
