Okay so I just returned from a trip to NYC, and I absolutely LOVED it but I must bitch about the absolutely OUTRAGEOUS drink prices!! It didn't seem to matter whether I Was at a dive bar or some Hip restaurant....I mean I went to a somewhat Dive-y bar/venue, and I figured I couldn't go wrong with a PBR....it was fucking $5 BUCKS!!! WTF?? thank GOD they had Jager specials....3 shots for $5!
My friends there said they almost always drink at home before heading out for the evening...How boring!

Wed, November 16, 2005 - 3:44 PMThere should be some rule about $5 PBR. Like scalping tickets - you can't charge more than some dollar amount over face value. Seriously, you can buy a case of PBR cans for $10! How can you charge $5 for just one?
