Tue, May 15, 2007 - 10:51 AMIf it's dolla wells, you can't beat whiskey and coke or rum and coke. Some people (like me after 4-5 drinks) don't mind well whiskey straight, I (when sober) think it's rough.

zeit does and 500 club used to have bomb Bloody marys. Mucky Duck (some bartenders) do a great job, they wll give you marinated mushrooms and blue cheese stuffed olives.....mmmmmmmmmm -

I personally find that Gin & Tonic is my favorite drink in any bar, dive or otherwise. But to give it that dive-y feel, you must use a gin that has a lot of juniper scent -

I agree, and for me, that gin is Bombay Saphhire--not a very dive-y gin, but very juniper-y:)
